🎓 Academic Qualifications
Dr. Kohli earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the CSIR-Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun, in January 2018. Her doctoral research focused on “Deactivation study of residue hydroprocessing catalysts”, supervised by Dr. Samir K. Maity (CSIR-IIP, Dehradun) and Dr. Madhusudan Sau (R&D IOC, Faridabad). She completed her M.Sc. in Chemistry from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, in 2011, with a commendable 83.22% marks. Before that, she pursued her B.Sc. in Medical Sciences from the same university, graduating in 2009 with 75.62% marks.
💼 Professional Experiences
Currently, Dr. Kohli is a Scientist at the CSIR-Indian Institute of Petroleum, contributing to innovative research since March 2021. She expanded her research experience internationally at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA, where she served as a Visiting Research Scholar from March 2018 to December 2019, followed by a role as a Postdoctoral Research Associate from December 2019 to December 2020. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Lecturer in Chemistry at Amritsar College of Engineering & Technology from January to May 2012, nurturing young minds with her knowledge and expertise.
