Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sibel Uzuner is an accomplished food engineering academic specializing in food process engineering and bioprocessing. She earned her PhD and MSc in Food Engineering from Middle East Technical University and Hacettepe University, following a bachelor’s degree in the same field. Her academic career includes roles at İzmir Institute of Technology and Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, along with international experience as a visiting scholar. Her research interests focus on food processing technologies, heat and mass transfer, and microbial enzyme production. She is a recipient of the METU Best Thesis Award, reflecting her strong research impact and academic excellence.
