🎓 Academic Background

Dr. Murad Khan holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Kyungpook National University, South Korea (2013-2017), where he specialized in Multi-criteria based Vertical Handover Management in Heterogeneous Wireless Networks. He was a recipient of the prestigious KINGS scholarship and received numerous accolades, including the Qualcomm Innovation Award (2016) and the Excellent Researcher Award (2014-2017). His journey in academia began with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science (BS-CS) from the University of Peshawar (2004-2008), where he developed an automatic SMS system for PCs as his undergraduate thesis.

Assistant Professor – Kuwait College of Science and Technology (2021-Present)

Currently, Dr. Khan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Kuwait College of Science and Technology. His teaching portfolio includes core computer science subjects such as:

                    Data Structures and Object-Oriented Programming

                    Analysis and Design of Algorithms

                    Computer Architecture

Postdoctoral Researcher – Kyungpook National University, South Korea (2019-2021)

During his postdoctoral tenure as a Brain Pool Fellow, Dr. Khan contributed to groundbreaking research in Smart Community Networking, Energy-Efficient Smart Homes, and Human-Appliance Interaction using Deep Learning.

Assistant Professor – Sarhad University of Science & IT, Pakistan (2017-2019)

Dr. Khan played a crucial role in shaping the academic landscape at Sarhad University, teaching Advanced Human-Computer Interaction, Network Security, and Data Communication & Networks, while also supervising MS and Ph.D. research projects on Smart Home Automation and IoT-based systems.
