He earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia (2021 – 2024), where his research was focused on the durability of bamboo fiber reinforced concrete under dry and wet cycling conditions. Prior to this, he completed his Master’s in Geological Engineering at China University of Geosciences (2014 – 2016), focusing on the Central South Yellow Sea uplift and its evolutionary process. His foundational undergraduate studies were completed at Kunming University of Science and Technology, where he majored in Resource Exploration Engineering.

Luo Yong brings extensive professional experience to the field of civil engineering and research. From 2016.07 to 2021.05, he served as a teacher at Fujian Forestry Vocational and Technical College. Additionally, he is studying bamboo fiber asphalt for heat-resistant interlayers in bridge decks and optimizing steel fiber and bamboo fiber concrete mixtures to improve durability and thermal conductivity.
