Dr. Ntombizodwa P. Zwane is an accomplished dentist and academic with over two decades of experience in clinical dentistry and dental education. She holds a Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS) and has served as a lecturer and clinician at a leading health sciences university since 2004. Her professional expertise is strongly rooted in removable prosthodontics, with extensive experience in teaching complete denture prosthodontics and managing patients requiring removable prostheses. Her academic work also encompasses dental materials science, biomaterials–biofilm interactions, and the innovative application of cold atmospheric plasma in dentistry. Actively engaged in evidence-based dental research, she contributes to structured, bias-minimised scientific evaluation and peer review processes. She is widely recognized for her commitment to undergraduate teaching, clinical supervision, assessment, and academic quality assurance. Through her combined roles as educator, clinician, and researcher, she continues to advance prosthodontic education and research, contributing meaningfully to the development of modern, science-driven dental practice.

Assist. Prof. Dr. Sachiko Miyamoto is a distinguished researcher and educator in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology. She earned her foundational education in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka, and later completed her dentistry degree at Nihon University School of Dentistry at Matsudo. Driven by a passion for medical research, she pursued a doctoral course at Hamamatsu University School of Medicine, where she focused on advanced biochemical and molecular genetics studies. Her professional journey began as a medical resident and dentist in public practice, gaining valuable clinical experience before transitioning to academic research. As a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Biochemistry at Hamamatsu University School of Medicine, she contributed to cutting-edge research in cell culture, molecular biology, and biochemistry, emphasizing the molecular mechanisms underlying cellular function and disease. In November 2023, she joined the department as an Assistant Professor, where she continues to mentor students and lead innovative research projects. Her work has been recognized for its scientific rigor and potential impact on health sciences. With a strong commitment to advancing molecular research and training the next generation of scientists, Dr. Miyamoto remains at the forefront of biochemistry and molecular genetics, bridging clinical insights with laboratory discoveries to drive progress in medical science.

Dr. Muhammad Abaza is a distinguished clinician–academic and international leader in oral laserology and advanced dentistry, recognized for integrating cutting-edge laser technologies with evidence-based clinical practice and education. He holds a BDS and advanced postgraduate qualifications in oral and dental laser applications, including an MSc from the National Institute of Laser Enhanced Sciences (NILES), Cairo University, with a PhD currently in progress, along with international fellowships, masterships, and multiple diplomas in laser dentistry, quality management, and low-level laser therapy. With nearly two decades of clinical experience, he has performed thousands of laser-assisted dental procedures across multiple specialties while maintaining exceptional patient outcomes and regulatory compliance, and he has successfully led high-volume clinical teams. As an educator and instructional designer, he has delivered extensive lectures and workshops globally, designed accredited curricula, and trained hundreds of dentists in laser dentistry, implants, and endodontics. His leadership roles include heading major professional associations, founding accredited dental education initiatives with thousands of enrollments, and serving on scientific and syndicate committees shaping dental education and policy. His research interests focus on laser dentistry, regenerative approaches involving stem cells and exosomes, and genetics-driven personalized dental care. Honored with multiple awards for academic excellence, presentations, and teaching, Dr. Abaza continues to advance modern dentistry through innovation, education, research leadership, and professional service.
