Dr. Mariana Blanco Massani is a scientist specializing in biomedical and polymer-based technologies with a strong focus on antimicrobial systems and advanced materials. She holds a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. Her professional experience spans Marie Curie–funded postdoctoral research, industrial consultancy, and long-term research roles in academic and national technology institutes. Her research interests include drug delivery systems, medical devices, antimicrobial materials, food microbiology, and sustainable packaging.
