Dr. Siwen Zhang, a native of Harbin, Heilongjiang, is a Party member and an accomplished researcher in the field of electrochemical energy storage. He obtained her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and Technology from the Harbin Institute of Technology in June 2020, under the supervision of Professor Wang Zhenbo. During her doctoral studies, He also undertook an 18-month joint research program at the National University of Singapore from August 2018 to March 2020, which enriched her academic experience with an international perspective.

Dr. Zhang has been dedicated to electrochemical energy storage research since 2013. Her core research areas include the controllable synthesis of transition metal oxides, design and fabrication of flexible devices, and development of self-supporting membrane electrodes. He is particularly focused on all-solid-state batteries, supercapacitors, and aqueous batteries, addressing both fundamental science and practical applications in energy storage technologies.
