💼 Professional Experience

Project AssistantCentre for Advanced Material Technology (CAMT), M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology
July 2022 – Present

In my current role as a Project Assistant, I am involved in a collaborative research project with Boeing focused on optimizing the curing time of Momentive RTV 106 and 108 sealants. By adjusting the resin and hardener compositions, our team successfully reduced the curing time from 24 hours to 12-13 hours without compromising critical properties like Shore A hardness, corrosion resistance, peel strength, and lap shear strength. The project adheres to strict industry standards, and I continue to refine sealant compositions for better performance.

Through this project, I have developed expertise in various characterization techniques, including X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Tensile and Compressive Testing (UTM), Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM).
