Dr. Chathura Abeywickrama has an extensive academic background in chemistry and structural biology. He began his educational journey at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, where he earned his B.Sc. in Chemistry in January 2013. Following this, he pursued advanced studies at The University of Akron, Ohio, obtaining an M.S. in Chemistry in December 2016 and later a Ph.D. in Chemistry in December 2018. To further his expertise, he worked as a Senior Researcher in Chemical Biology and Structural Biology at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN, completing his tenure in August 2023.
