Dr. M. T. Ramesan is a distinguished polymer chemist recognized for his pioneering contributions to the field of polymer chemistry and materials science. He earned his Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from the Rubber Research Institute of India, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, where his thesis focused on “Dichlorocarbene Modified Styrene Butadiene Rubber and Its Application in Rubber–Rubber Blends.” He also holds an M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from the same university. With extensive postdoctoral research experience at Chonbuk National University, South Korea, Dr. Ramesan has developed strong expertise in polymer modification, nanocomposites, conductive polymers, and sustainable material design. His research interests span polymer blends, nanostructured materials, green composites, and energy storage applications. A prolific reviewer and editor, he has evaluated over 250 international journal manuscripts across reputed publishers and served as an expert reviewer for the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Fellowships. His scientific excellence has been recognized globally, including multiple Outstanding Reviewer Awards from Elsevier and his consistent inclusion in Stanford University’s list of the World’s Top 2% Scientists in Polymer Chemistry (2020–2025). Currently, he continues advancing innovative research and mentoring scholars, contributing significantly to the global progress of polymer and materials science.
