He has held multiple postdoctoral fellowships at globally renowned institutions including Charles University in Prague, the University of Pennsylvania, the Weizmann Institute of Science, and Aalto University, contributing significantly to advanced research in quantum systems. His professional experience also includes roles as a research associate, visiting scientist, and private tutor, demonstrating a strong commitment to both research and education. Dr. Kumar’s research interests span statistical physics and condensed matter physics, with particular emphasis on equilibrium and non-equilibrium quantum phenomena, open quantum systems, quantum thermodynamics, quantum chaos, quantum transport, decoherence, and soft matter physics.
