Dr. Seram Dushila Devi completed her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Manipur University, India in 2012. Her doctoral research focused on “Thermodynamic Investigations on the Solvent Hydrophobicity and its Effect on the Micellar Behaviour of Some Ionic Surfactants”. Another major area of her research is the study of polymer-iodine interactions and the iodine/iodide equilibrium in mixed media in the presence of surfactants. Additionally, Dr. Devi has worked on the development of soft intelligent materials such as thermochromic polymer gels and polymer blends, which exhibit unique properties in the presence of surfactants.
