Weidong Ji, born in May 1978, is a member of the Han ethnic group and a committed member of the Communist Party. He pursued his education with remarkable dedication, beginning with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Automation at Harbin Institute of Technology (1997-2001). He then obtained a Master’s degree in Control Theory and Control Engineering from the same institute (2001-2004) under the guidance of Gao Zhongwen. His academic journey culminated in a Ph.D. in Mechanical Design and Theory from Northeast Forestry University (2008-2013), supervised by Keqi Wang, and a Postdoctoral fellowship in Forestry Engineering Automation at Northeast Forestry University (2015-2017), mentored by Liping Sun.
