Dr. Abhijeet Das holds a Ph.D. in Water Resource Engineering from C.V. Raman Global University (CGU), Bhubaneswar. He pursued his M-Tech in Water Resource Engineering from Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela – CET Bhubaneswar, and completed his B-Tech in Civil Engineering from BPUT – ABIT, Cuttack. Earlier, he studied Intermediate/+2 at Stewart Science College, Cuttack and Matriculation/10th at S.C.B. Medical Public School, Cuttack (ICSE), maintaining an excellent academic record throughout his journey.

Dr. Das’s research spans Watershed Hydrology and Water Resources Engineering, with a strong focus on Hydrological Modeling and Hydrologic Extremes such as droughts and floods. He is actively engaged in Climate Change Impact Assessment and the Food-Energy-Water (FEW) Nexus. His expertise includes Machine Learning, Remote Sensing and GIS, and Geoinformatics, along with advanced approaches in Numerical Modeling, Optimization Techniques, and Simulation-Optimization Modeling. He also applies Artificial Neural Networks and Fuzzy Logic in solving water-related challenges, with emphasis on Water Quality Control and Environmental Impact Assessment.
