Mrs. Pratima Dawadi holds a Master’s in Nursing from Tribhuwan University (2014-2016), specializing in Women’s Health and Development with a focus on Maternal and Newborn Health. During her studies, she conducted significant academic research on the “Prevalence and Factors Associated with Depressive Symptoms Among Post-Partum Mothers,” which involved extensive secondary data analysis and presentations across various specialized hospitals. Additionally, she actively participated in seminars, workshops, and both individual and group presentations as part of her academic requirements. Earlier, she earned her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Tribhuwan University (2010-2012), where she specialized in Hospital Nursing and conducted research entitled “Knowledge Regarding Mental Illness Among Visitors of CMCTH.”

Currently, Mrs. Dawadi serves as a Research Officer at the Nepal Health Research Council in Kathmandu (April 2021 – November 2023) and continues her role as a Research Consultant (December 2023 – Present). She previously worked as a Nursing Officer at the Chitwan Fertility Center in Bharatpur from May 2019 to April 2021. Her experience also includes serving as a Program Officer for Clinical Services with One Heart Worldwide in Kathmandu (November 2016 – May 2019). In the academic sphere, she has held positions as a Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer in Nursing at Shree Medical and Technical College in Bharatpur. Furthermore, she has experience as a Staff Nurse in both the Department of Surgery at BPKMCH and the SAHAVAGI program funded by FHI, each for one year.
