Dr. Shih-Shun Lin holds a Ph.D. (2001) from the Graduate Institute of Agricultural Biotechnology at National Chung-Hsing University, Taiwan. He earned his B.S. (1996) from the Department of Horticulture at the same university. Previously, he was an Associate Professor (2014–2018) and Assistant Professor (2008–2014) at NTU. His postdoctoral research included work at The Rockefeller University, New York, USA (2003–2008) and National Chung-Hsing University, Taiwan (2003).
