Dr. Sarin currently serves as an Instrument Manager for the FEI Helios NanoLab 660 SEM/FIB at the Nano-Engineering Research Core Facility, where he has trained numerous users, prepared specialized nano-structured samples, and collaborated with industrial and academic partners. As a Research Assistant at the Nebraska Center for Materials & Nanoscience, he has performed high-resolution TEM/STEM imaging, electron diffraction, and STEM-EDX mapping to study interfaces, crystallinity, and elemental distribution in advanced materials. He has also contributed as a Teaching Assistant in Materials Science, where he guided undergraduate laboratory experiments, taught materials characterization techniques, and developed remote instructional content during COVID-19 to ensure uninterrupted hands-on learning.
