Mr. Friday Ebere is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering at the University of North Dakota (Grand Forks, ND), with an anticipated graduation date in May 2025. Prior to this, he earned his Master’s degree (M.Eng.) in Petroleum & Gas Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria (2016-2019). He also holds a Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria (2008-2014). Mr. Ebere has accumulated a wealth of practical experience throughout his career. He is currently working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Energy and Environmental Research Center (EERC), where he is involved in innovative energy systems research with a focus on carbon capture and storage technologies. Alongside this role, he is also a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the UND Department of Energy & Petroleum Engineering, where he assists with teaching undergraduate and graduate courses related to petroleum engineering. Previously, Mr. Ebere held the position of Energy Hawk Research Intern at EERC, gaining hands-on experience in energy transition projects and conducting policy analysis for sustainable energy development. He also served as a Petroleum & Natural Gas Engineering Consultant for Eberoil Nigeria Limited, where he provided expertise in enhanced oil recovery and reservoir optimization. In addition, he worked as a Petroleum Engineer at Ezeigwe Oil and Gas Nigeria Limited, focusing on well testing and field development strategies. Mr. Ebere has also been involved in leadership and business development roles, such as serving as a Business Development Manager for Linear Isotherm Energy Resources Limited and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru. Furthermore, he contributed to research efforts as an Adhoc Research Assistant at the Centre for Petroleum, Energy, Economics and Law at the University of Ibadan.

Dr. Price has been an integral part of Florida International University (FIU), holding several key administrative positions.
