She pursued her M.Sc. in Optics at the same institution, completing it in April 2007. Later, she earned a Doctor of Science from Jilin University, specializing in Optics, in May 2012.

Following her doctoral studies, Professor Fang held postdoctoral positions at Jilin University, first at the College of Life Sciences (2012-2015), and later at the College of Physics (2015-present). She started her academic career as a Lecturer at Changchun University of Science and Technology in 2014, where she rose to the position of Associate Professor in 2017. In July 2023, she was promoted to Professor at the College of Physics, Changchun University of Science and Technology.
