👩‍🏫📚Academic Leadership and Teaching 

As Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology at the British University in Egypt (BUE) since September 2015, I have led the teaching and supervision of courses such as Dosage Forms Formulation, Pharmacokinetics, and Biopharmaceutics. My role includes enhancing research activities in the fields of pharmaceutical nanotechnology and drug delivery systems.

I hold a PhD in Pharmaceutics from Al-Azhar University, where my thesis addressed controlled release delivery systems. I have contributed to the field through patent applications for innovative pharmaceutical formulations, demonstrating my commitment to advancing pharmaceutical sciences.

🎓🔬Research Supervision and Student Mentorship 

I have supervised over 10 Master’s and PhD theses and guide 5th-year students on their graduation projects. As an external examiner, I uphold academic integrity by evaluating Master’s and PhD defenses. I also mentor academic staff and oversee their performance reviews.

In my administrative capacity, I communicate the University’s strategic goals and policy developments to the Department. I ensure the preparation of class and examination schedules and disseminate information from Faculty Council meetings, fostering a cohesive academic environment.

My experience includes roles as Associate Professor and Acting HoD in various institutions, where I taught subjects such as Physical Pharmacy and Hospital Pharmacy.
