Prof. Yuanyong Yao earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Zunyi Normal University in 2010, followed by a Master’s degree from Guizhou University in 2013. He has been part of Tongren University since 2017, initially serving as an Associate Professor until 2022, and was promoted to full Professor in 2023. His academic journey and progressive roles at Tongren University reflect his solid foundation and growing leadership in the field of materials and chemical engineering.

Prof. Yao’s research primarily focuses on the functional exploration of natural bioactive compounds found in medicinal plants and special foods, investigating their biological properties and health benefits.
