Dr. Amira Abdel Halim Hamada Boseila has a rich academic background in pharmaceutical sciences. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University in February 2020. Her PhD thesis focused on “Utility of nanocarriers for targeted delivery of an antiviral drug to the liver.” Prior to that, she obtained her Master’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the same institution in December 2013, with her thesis titled “Formulation and Evaluation of Modified Nasal Drug Delivery System of an Antiemetic Drug: Ondansetron.” Additionally, Dr. Boseila completed a Total Quality Management Diploma (TQM) from the American University of Cairo in 2009, further strengthening her expertise in quality control management. She began her academic journey with a Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences from Cairo University in May 2007, graduating with a “very good” grade. Her early education was at La Rose De Lisieux Language School, Dokkie, where she specialized in science.

Dr. Boseila is currently a Full-time Lecturer of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Sinai University, where she has been since September 2022. In this role, she teaches various PharmD courses such as “Advanced Drug Delivery Systems,” “Design of Dosage Forms,” and several key subjects in pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical technology. Before this full-time position, she was a Part-time Lecturer at Sinai University, delivering lectures on Industrial Pharmacy and Hospital Pharmacy from February to June 2022.

In parallel, Dr. Boseila has served as a Post-doctoral Researcher at the Department of Pharmaceutics, Egyptian Drug Authority in Giza, Egypt, since July 2020.
