Mr. Tushar Adhikari is an emerging academic and researcher in the field of pharmaceutical sciences, with a strong foundation in pharmaceutical chemistry and phytochemistry. He completed his M.Pharm. with a specialization in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology, Kolkata, securing First Class Honours, following his B.Pharm. from Adamas University with First Class Honours. His academic journey reflects consistent excellence from secondary education through postgraduate studies. Since August 2022, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor at Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology, where he has accumulated over 1.5 years of teaching, research, and administrative experience. His research interests are primarily centered on phytochemistry, with hands-on expertise in extraction, fractionation, isolation, purification, and characterization of bioactive phytoconstituents, particularly flavonoids, using advanced chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques such as HPTLC, TLC, column chromatography, UV, IR, and AAS. In addition, he has exposure to computer-aided drug design, including molecular docking, 2D and 3D QSAR, and pharmacophore modeling. His academic distinctions, teaching contributions, and interdisciplinary research orientation highlight his commitment to advancing pharmaceutical education and research, positioning him as a promising contributor to future innovations in drug discovery and natural product research.
