🎓 Educational Qualifications
Dr. A. Dhanalakshmi has a strong academic background in Mathematics. She qualified for the TNSET Examination in 2017, showcasing her expertise in the subject. She earned her Ph.D. in Mathematics from SCSVMV University, Enathur, Kancheepuram, in 2017, with her research focusing on the Graph Theoretical Characterization of Some Chemical Structures for Finding Topological Indices as Molecular Descriptors. Prior to this, she obtained her M.Phil. in Mathematics with First Class from Algappa University in 2004. She completed her Master of Science in Mathematics from Annamalai University in 2001, securing a Second Class. Her undergraduate studies were completed at Pachaiyappa’s College for Women, Kancheepuram, where she graduated with a First Class in 1999. Dr. Dhanalakshmi also demonstrated academic excellence in her early education, achieving First Class in Higher Secondary Education (1996) and Secondary Education (1994) in Tamil Nadu.
🏫 Professional Experience
Dr. A. Dhanalakshmi has an extensive teaching career spanning over two decades. She started as a Lecturer at Pattammal Alagesan College of Arts and Science, Athur, Chengalpattu, from 2002 to 2006, where she played a significant role in shaping students’ mathematical skills. She then moved to Arupadaivedu Institute of Technology, Paiyanoor, Kancheepuram District, from 2006 to 2009, where she continued to contribute to academia. Following this, she served as a Lecturer at Shri Sapthagiri Institute of Technology, Ocheri, Vellore District, from 2010 to 2012, further enriching her teaching experience. Her career progressed as she took on the role of Assistant Professor of Mathematics at SCSVMV University, Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, from 29-06-2012 to 16-09-2023. During this period, she significantly contributed to research, student mentorship, and curriculum development. Currently, she serves as an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Saveetha School of Engineering, SIMATS, Chennai, since 19-09-2023, where she continues to excel in both teaching and research, inspiring young mathematicians.
🏆 Awards & Recognitions
Dr. A. Dhanalakshmi has received several prestigious awards in recognition of her excellence in mathematics and research. She was honored with the Young Women Mathematician Award from Infinity Awards 2020, organized by Rathinam College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore, on 22-12-2020. Her dedication to research was further acknowledged when she received the Women Researcher Award at the International Scientist Awards on Engineering, Science, and Medicine, organized by VDgood Professional Association, Salem, India, on 08 & 09-Jan-2021. In addition to these achievements, she was awarded an Honour & Recognition for contributing to a book on COVID-19 and its impact, organized by ESN Publication, on 30-01-2021. Recently, she was honored with the Thirukkural Award – 2024, conferred by Thamizh Amudhu Trust, Ariyalur, on 16-01-2024, recognizing her academic excellence and contributions to research. Dr. A. Dhanalakshmi’s remarkable journey in mathematics, research, and education reflects her dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to the field. Through her extensive teaching experience, groundbreaking research, and numerous accolades, she continues to inspire students and contribute significantly to the academic world.
