He holds a BDS and advanced postgraduate qualifications in oral and dental laser applications, including an MSc from the National Institute of Laser Enhanced Sciences (NILES), Cairo University, with a PhD currently in progress, along with international fellowships, masterships, and multiple diplomas in laser dentistry, quality management, and low-level laser therapy. With nearly two decades of clinical experience, he has performed thousands of laser-assisted dental procedures across multiple specialties while maintaining exceptional patient outcomes and regulatory compliance, and he has successfully led high-volume clinical teams. As an educator and instructional designer, he has delivered extensive lectures and workshops globally, designed accredited curricula, and trained hundreds of dentists in laser dentistry, implants, and endodontics. His leadership roles include heading major professional associations, founding accredited dental education initiatives with thousands of enrollments, and serving on scientific and syndicate committees shaping dental education and policy. His research interests focus on laser dentistry, regenerative approaches involving stem cells and exosomes, and genetics-driven personalized dental care. He currently serves as Professor at the College of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, Zhejiang University, where he leads innovative research integrating chemistry, materials science, and engineering applications.
