🎓 Academic Background

Yanzhi Guo began her academic journey at Yantai University, Yantai, China, where she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry from 1999 to 2003. Motivated by a growing interest in computational sciences applied to chemistry and biology, she continued her higher education at Sichuan University in Chengdu, China. There, she earned her Ph.D. in Chemoinformatics and Bioinformatics between 2003 and 2008, focusing on the integration of informatics tools in chemical and biological research.

Dr. Guo has been a dedicated member of the College of Chemistry at Sichuan University for over a decade. She started her professional career as a Senior Lecturer in July 2008, serving in that role until June 2014. Mrs. Pratima Dawadi holds a Master’s in Nursing from Tribhuwan University (2014-2016), specializing in Women’s Health and Development with a focus on Maternal and Newborn Health. During her studies, she conducted significant academic research on the “Prevalence and Factors Associated with Depressive Symptoms Among Post-Partum Mothers,” which involved extensive secondary data analysis and presentations across various specialized hospitals. Additionally, she actively participated in seminars, workshops, and both individual and group presentations as part of her academic requirements. Earlier, she earned her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Tribhuwan University (2010-2012), where she specialized in Hospital Nursing and conducted research entitled “Knowledge Regarding Mental Illness Among Visitors of CMCTH.”
