He obtained her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and Technology from the Harbin Institute of Technology in June 2020, under the supervision of Professor Wang Zhenbo. During her doctoral studies, He also undertook an 18-month joint research program at the National University of Singapore from August 2018 to March 2020, which enriched her academic experience with an international perspective.
