Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jinjian Ding is an Associate Researcher at the Institute of Interdisciplinary Sciences, Zhejiang Shuren University, with a strong academic background in environmental science and interdisciplinary research. He earned his Ph.D. in Environmental Science from Zhejiang University (2011–2016) after completing his B.Sc. in Environmental Science at Zhejiang University of Technology (2007–2011). Following his doctoral studies, he carried out postdoctoral research at the Taizhou Institute of Zhejiang University (2016–2019), where he was actively involved in energy and environmental engineering research. His professional career includes roles as Assistant Researcher at the Taizhou Institute of Zhejiang University, Lecturer at the College of Quality and Safety Engineering, China Jiliang University, and Associate Researcher at the same institution before joining Zhejiang Shuren University in 2023. His research interests broadly focus on environmental science, energy and environmental engineering, quality and safety engineering, pollution control, and interdisciplinary environmental applications. Dr. Ding has contributed to multiple research projects, published scholarly works, and participated in academic collaborations, earning recognition through research grants and institutional awards. Prof. Qi Sun is a distinguished chemist and academic leader recognized for impactful contributions to chemical and biochemical engineering, particularly in materials chemistry and catalysis. He earned his PhD in Chemistry from Zhejiang University (2009–2014) under the mentorship of Feng-Shou Xiao, following a Bachelor’s degree in Material Chemistry from Harbin University of Science and Technology (2005–2009). After completing doctoral training, he gained extensive international research experience as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Zhejiang University, supervised by Jixue Li and Feng-Shou Xiao, and subsequently in the Department of Chemistry at the University of South Florida under Shengqian Ma. These roles strengthened his expertise in advanced functional materials, porous materials, catalysis, and structure–property relationships. He currently serves as Professor at the College of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, Zhejiang University, where he leads innovative research integrating chemistry, materials science, and engineering applications. His academic excellence has been recognized through multiple prestigious honors, including Outstanding Doctoral Thesis at Zhejiang University, National Scholarship and Outstanding Graduate Student awards, and Outstanding Undergraduate Graduation Thesis distinction. Through sustained research innovation, mentorship, and scholarly leadership, Prof. Qi Sun continues to advance chemical science and foster the next generation of researchers.

Dr. Jishad Kumar is an accomplished physicist with extensive international research and teaching experience across leading academic institutions. His academic journey began with a BSc and MSc in Physics from Mahatma Gandhi University, followed by a PhD in Physics from IISER Kolkata, where he developed a strong foundation in theoretical and statistical physics. He has held multiple postdoctoral fellowships at globally renowned institutions including Charles University in Prague, the University of Pennsylvania, the Weizmann Institute of Science, and Aalto University, contributing significantly to advanced research in quantum systems. His professional experience also includes roles as a research associate, visiting scientist, and private tutor, demonstrating a strong commitment to both research and education. Dr. Kumar’s research interests span statistical physics and condensed matter physics, with particular emphasis on equilibrium and non-equilibrium quantum phenomena, open quantum systems, quantum thermodynamics, quantum chaos, quantum transport, decoherence, and soft matter physics.
