Mr. Tajala Magray holds a Postgraduate degree in Physics from the Department of Physics, University of Mumbai (2019), where he specialized in Material Science, Polymer Science, Nano Science, and Nano Technology, securing a GPA of 3.0. 🔬 Research Projects
During his academic journey, Mr. Magray contributed to several innovative projects. In 2018–2019, he worked under the guidance of Mr. Nitin Bijewar at the University of Mumbai on a project titled “Development of Machine Learning and High-throughput DFT Framework for the Study of Perovskite”, merging computational physics with AI technologies. Additionally, he is currently engaged in synthesizing electrode materials for energy storage devices under the mentorship of Prof. Pradip Sarwade at the Department of Physics, University of Mumbai (2022–Present). These projects reflect his strong inclination towards materials innovation and renewable energy solutions.
🧪 Technical Skills
Mr. Magray is proficient in a wide range of material characterization techniques such as XRD, SEM, TEM, TGA, DSC, BET, FTIR, AFM, XPS, and Cyclic Voltammetry (CV). His hands-on experience also includes nanomaterial synthesis techniques like sputtering, solvothermal and hydrothermal processes, as well as the sol–gel method. Additionally, he is skilled in mechanical testing, including tensile and hardness testing. His technical toolkit is complemented by a solid command of Python, advanced MS Excel, and other MS Office tools, enabling him to efficiently analyze and interpret complex datasets.
💻 Computational Proficiency
Tajala’s growing interest in computational physics is evident through his experience in Machine Learning and Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations. His mathematical acumen, coupled with programming and software capabilities, supports his work in developing AI-driven scientific models and simulations for material behavior prediction

Mr. Magray has participated in several prestigious training programs and workshops. He completed a 7-day Material Characterization STUTI workshop organized by SAIF-DST-CFC, Shivaji University, Kolhapur, and took part in a 3-day Basic Training Program in Nano Science and Technology by IISc Bangalore.
