Dr. Nagaiah Kambhala holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences (CeNS), Bangalore, an autonomous institute under the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. His doctoral research, completed in April 2017 under Dr. S. Angappane, focused on the synthesis, electrical, and magnetic properties of multiferroics and colossal magnetoresistance materials. He also earned an M.Sc. in Physics with a specialization in Vacuum and Thin Film Physics from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, securing a gold medal for his academic excellence. Since April 2019, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at the School of Sciences, Jain (Deemed-to-be University), Bangalore. Ishioma completed her Ph.D. in Chemical and Environmental Engineering (2023) from the University of Nottingham, while simultaneously participating in a Doctoral Training Program in New Energy Materials at the Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She also holds an M.Eng. (2017) and B.Eng. (2012) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

Developing innovative conversion processes for biomass and polymeric carbon waste into functional materials with a focus on electrochemical energy storage applications, including supercapacitors, supercapattery, and batteries. Her work emphasizes creating porous materials to enhance energy storage capacity and efficiency.

Ishioma has a robust teaching background, serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China from 2020-2022, where she taught Chemical Process Simulation using Aspen Hysys.
