🎓Educational Qualifications

Dr. Yadav holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, awarded in 2018 under the supervision of Professor Ramesh Chandra and Professor Monika Datta. His doctoral research was centered on the application of naturally occurring clay minerals for the synthesis of nanopigments as colorants.Prior to his doctorate, he completed his M.Sc. in Chemistry with an Inorganic Specialization from Guru Jambheshwar Science & Technology University, Hisar, with a commendable grade of 7.77 on a 10-point scale. He earned his B.Sc. in Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. Additionally, he pursued a B.Ed. in Science from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, demonstrating his interest in education. His academic foundation was laid with a Senior Secondary education in Physics, Biology, and Chemistry, followed by High School studies focused on Science and Mathematics from HBSE, Bhiwani.

🔬Research & Area of Interest

Dr. Neeraj Yadav’s research primarily focuses on water purification, nano pigments, clay polymer nanocomposites, and metal oxide nanoparticles. His expertise extends to the application of nano pigments in polymer matrices and the paint industry, where he has significantly contributed to advancements in material chemistry and environmental sustainability. His analytical approach and innovative mindset have enabled him to explore new methodologies for the efficient use of naturally occurring minerals in industrial applications.

🏆Work Experience

Dr. Yadav has been serving as an Assistant Professor in Inorganic Chemistry at the School of Basic and Applied Sciences, K. R. Mangalam University since January 2019. In this role, he has contributed extensively to curriculum development by designing syllabi, tests, quizzes, and study materials, ensuring high academic standards. He has actively participated in Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) as both an organizer and a speaker. He coordinated the FDP on Modern Scientific Technologies in December 2022 and convened the FDP on Recent Advancements in Science and Technology in August 2021. Additionally, he was a speaker at the International Online FDP on Advancements in Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in July 2020.

Dr. Yadav has also played a pivotal role in organizing workshops and delivering lectures on key scientific topics. He organized a workshop on Food Adulteration and delivered insightful lectures on Nanopigment Design, NET Exam Preparation, and Project-Based Learning. In student research guidance, he has been actively supervising B.Sc. and M.Sc. dissertation projects, serving as an External Member of the Science Research Committee, and mentoring Ph.D. students in their academic pursuits. Beyond academics, Dr. Yadav is engaged in university and social initiatives. He serves as the NSS Coordinator for the National Service Scheme and is the Coordinator of the APJ Abdul Kalam Science Club, where he actively promotes scientific curiosity and social responsibility among students.

Dr. Yadav has been the recipient of several prestigious fellowships and awards in recognition of his academic excellence and research contributions. He was awarded the CSIR Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) for the period 2014-2017 and the CSIR Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) from 2012-2014. His research achievements were further recognized with the Dr. Upadhyayula V. Rao Memorial Award for Best Oral Presentation at the Annual Convention of Chemists in 2017 and the Professor V. Panda Rango Rao Award for Best Oral Presentation at the same convention in 2015. Additionally, he has qualified for the CSIR-JRF (Chemical Science) in December 2011 and the CSIR-UGC NET (Chemical Science) in June 2011, demonstrating his proficiency and expertise in the field.
