🎓 Education and Academic Journey
Prof. Dr. Wenhan Lin has built an illustrious academic career in medicinal chemistry. He completed his undergraduate studies in Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry, Zhijiang Normal University (1978–1982). His graduate journey led him to the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences (1985–1989), where he earned his Master’s and Ph.D. degrees.
He further enhanced his expertise during a postdoctoral fellowship at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Peking University (1990–1992). Recognized for his academic excellence, he joined the university as an Associate Professor of Medicinal Chemistry (1992–1996) and has been serving as a Professor in the State Key Laboratory of Natural and Biomimetic Drugs since 1996.

Dr. Lin’s career has been enriched by various international scholarly visits. He worked as a visiting scholar at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (1993–1994), the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Toho University, Japan (1995–1996), and the University of Düsseldorf, Germany (1999–2000) under a prestigious DAAD Special Program Award.
