Prof. Galal Nawwar has a strong academic foundation in Organic Chemistry, which has significantly contributed to his expertise in the field. He obtained his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Faculty of Science, Ain-Shams University in October 1983, following his M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from the same institution in December 1980. His journey in chemistry began with a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Cairo University in June 1974.

With decades of experience, Prof. Nawwar has played a pivotal role in chemical research and green chemistry innovations. Currently, he is a Professor at the Green Chemistry Department, National Research Centre (NRC), Dokki, Cairo, Egypt, a position he has held since December 1995. Prior to this, he held various esteemed positions, including Head of the Special Unit for the production of local technology and additives. He also served as the Head of the Chemical Industries Research Division from February 2006 to February 2012 and as the Deputy of the Chemical Industries Research Division from November 2005 to January 2006. His expertise in pesticide chemistry led him to become the Head of the Pesticides Chemistry Department at NRC from May 2005 to November 2005.

Earlier in his career, he gained extensive research experience, serving as an Assistant Professor at NRC from August 1989 to November 1995, a Researcher from September 1984 to July 1989, and a Research Assistant from December 1980 to September 1983. His journey began as an Assistant Researcher at NRC in August 1977. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership and scientific expertise, making significant contributions to chemical research and sustainable solutions.

Prof. Nawwar’s research focuses on two key areas:

Organic Synthesis is at the core of his work, where he has contributed to the development of innovative and sustainable chemical compounds. His expertise in organic chemistry has led to the creation of new chemical formulations that enhance industrial applications and environmental sustainability.

Waste Recycling is another major area of interest, where he has explored eco-friendly solutions for repurposing waste materials. His research has played a crucial role in developing sustainable chemical processes that minimize environmental impact and promote green chemistry initiatives.

Prof. Galal Nawwar has received numerous prestigious awards in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field of chemistry. In 2018, he was honored with the Golden Medal at the 46th International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva, Switzerland, recognizing his groundbreaking contributions to scientific advancements. Early Life and Education 🏫:

Prof. Dr. Rasim Mogulkoc was born on March 20, 1967, in Gürün (Sivas), Turkey. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in his hometown. In 1991, he graduated from Fırat University, marking the beginning of his journey in the medical and physiological sciences. Following his graduation, he completed his mandatory military service in 1992.

Academic Pursuits and Professional Journey 📚:

Prof. Mogulkoc embarked on his doctoral studies in 1993 and earned his Ph.D. in 1997. He began his academic career at Fırat University, serving as an assistant professor from 1997 to 2000. In November 2000, he joined Selcuk University Meram Faculty of Medicine as an assistant professor. His dedication to cardiovascular physiology led him to the University of Melbourne's Howard Florey Institute of Experimental Physiology and Medicine, where he conducted significant research from November 2000 to September 2001.
