Wenye Deng completed his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry at Lanzhou University in 2007 through a Direct Ph.D. Program, after obtaining his B.Sc. in Applied Chemistry from the same university in 2002. His academic journey laid the foundation for his expertise in the field of physical chemistry, which he has built upon throughout his professional career.

Professor Deng has accumulated extensive experience in both academic and research positions. He currently serves as a Professor/Researcher at the Xinjiang Institute of Engineering since June 2022. Prior to this, he worked as a Researcher and Deputy Director at the Xinjiang Environmental Protection Science Research Institute from 2013 to 2022. His earlier work includes serving as an Associate Researcher at the Xinjiang Institute of Physics and Chemistry (CAS) and as an Assistant Researcher/Associate Researcher at the China Academy of Engineering Physics from 2008 to 2011. He also gained international experience as a Visiting Scholar at Louisiana State University (LSU) in 2017-2018, further enhancing his global research perspective.

He has also served as an Expert Consultant for the Xinjiang People’s Procuratorate and a National Environmental Public Welfare Litigation Technical Expert from 2021 to 2023.

Shuli Liu holds a PhD in Municipal Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology. Her thesis focuses on the anabolism of valuable organic materials from food processing wastewater treatment using photosynthetic bacteria. She has served as an Associate Professor at the North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power in the School of Environmental and Municipal Engineering since December 2021. Prior to this, she was a Lecturer at the same institution from August 2016 to November 2021. Liu began her academic journey as a PhD student from July 2012 to July 2016, followed by a Postgraduate degree in Environmental Microbiology from September 2010 to June 2012, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Bioscience from September 2006 to June 2010.

🎓 Academic Work & Education

As of February 2024, I am an Assistant Professor in Food Hygiene and Control at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Benha University, Egypt. Since 2023, I have been a member of the Government Excellence Award Committee, overseeing initiatives for our faculty. In 2021, I became the Coordinator of the Biotechnology Incubator, where I manage sustainable biotechnological ideas. From 2020 to 2023, I served as an Instructor on the Biosafety Committee, conducting workshops for postgraduate students. I have been a Lecturer in the Food Hygiene and Control Department since January 2019, specializing in Dairy Hygiene and Control. Prior to this, I was a Research Student at Kagoshima University, Japan, from September 2016 to September 2018 under the Chunnel Scholarship. My academic journey began with various roles at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, culminating in my Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences in June 2009.
