Abdul is currently a Visiting Researcher at Lakehead University, Thunder Bay, Canada (27/07/2024 – Present). His research focuses on forest ecology and environmental planning, particularly developing strategies for sustainable forest management and restoring natural ecosystems.From 01/01/2022 to 25/07/2024, Abdul served as a Woodlands Planning Forester (Part-Time) at Huazhong Agriculture University, Wuhan, China. In this role, he was responsible for planning woodlands management with an emphasis on ecological restoration and sustainable forestry practices. He effectively used GIS tools and forest ecology principles to optimize land use in forested areas.

Abdul also worked as the Head of Forest & Natural Resources Department at the Agriculture Faculty, Badghis University, Badghis, Afghanistan (01/11/2020 – 17/12/2022). He led the department in managing natural resources and forest ecosystems, spearheading initiatives aimed at the conservation and sustainable development of rangeland and farmland in challenging environments.Additionally, he served as a Lecturer at Badghis University during the same period, teaching courses on forestry science, natural resources management, and environmental policy. Abdul was committed to promoting sustainable agriculture and fostering environmental stewardship among students.
