From 2020 to the present, she has been the Head of Institutional Finance Research, with a focus on the chemical ecology of aphids impacting pomegranate crops and wild olive trees in Taif, KSA. In 2019, she acted as an arbitrator for a master’s thesis on the effect of marine algae extract on calcium dissolution. Taghreed has also contributed as a Board Editor for the Journal of Aquaculture and Marine Science (2017) and co-supervised a master’s project on the synthesis of pyrazolo derivatives in 2016. Additionally, she reviewed the Arabic translation of the book Islamic Civilization in Articles in 2015-2016. Since 2014, she has been serving as an Assistant Professor of Organic Chemistry at Taif University in Saudi Arabia.

Taghreed has extensive field experience, including the extraction of infochemicals from trees, pests, insects, and surrounding bionomies using techniques like Closed Loop Stripping (CLS) and Opened Loop Stripping (OpLS) from 2021 to the present.
